Live Climate

We are a new initiative to bring to bear the light for this beautiful planet, and all who are stewards of the Earth. Actions, small steps to productive change

Dear Friends,

At a time when our leadership is truly theatre of the absurd, when our global biosphere is screaming for attention as polar ice caps melt, tornadoes & hurricane seasons are upon us, fires rage out of control, the fragile beauty of this Earth has never been more poignant. Nor has it ever been more apparent that the young people who stood up and continue to school strike for the climate (Thank you, Greta Thunberg!) represent the leaders of tomorrow. Actions, not words.

Live Climate came about as an homage to the upcoming 50th anniversary of Earth Day (April 22, 2020), a way of celebrating the grassroots movement that has taken us far – but not far enough.

With today’s technologies, we have the power at our fingertips to communicate effectively with one another, with global leadership, with corporations seeking new ways to make a difference. Remember when Ben & Jerry’s ice cream launched their “Who’s Afraid of the Doughboy” campaign? Remember when JFK stated: “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” When Martin Luther King preached “I have a dream.” When butterflies were free and not kept in viewing cages or zoos? Before the hundreds of endangered species (mankind included) were added to the endangered list?

LIVE CLIMATE WANTS TO OFFER A RAY OF HOPE, INSPIRATION AND A FORUM FOR PRODUCTIVE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION INTO POSITIVE ACTIONS.

JOIN US AS AGENTS OF CHANGE. BE THE DIFFERENCE YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD.

MUSIC WITH A MISSION: EARTH CONCERTS
APRIL 22, 23 & 24, 2020 at THE TOWN HALL, NEW YORK CITY

Music has the power to bypass our brains and go direct to our hearts.

All genres, all styles…when you feel the vibration that moves you, there is no stopping what’s possible.

Woodstock ’69 launched a unique revolution, but we have grown complacent and forgotten that, indeed, to quote Joni Mitchell: “We are stardust, and we’ve got to get back to the garden”.

Let’s grow some love for our home planet: not just Love Your Mother: it’s essential that we HONOR earth, and RIGHT NOW! And it is so simple.

This is beyond politics, beyond cultures – we must look to what unites us, not what divides; we must wave the banners for peace, unity and global awareness, all together now.

Edu-tainment through the power of music: let’s make a new mantra for this generation, and enter the decade of 2020 with a profound celebration of the power of LOVE. We all have a dream: to thrive and blossom, and watch those we love do the same. This is hard to do when the planet is in distress. So take three deep breaths; imagine the garden first in your heart, then take the beauty of that garden image out into Nature, and give back some love to this Earth. THE TIME HAS COME.

Look for LIVE CLIMATE CONCERT events popping up in your neighborhoods; CONCERTS for LIVE CLIMATE will be the most effective way to organize groups of people into taking direct action. With the same passion and resources that get invested in political elections or major disaster relief endeavors, we must realize WE ARE AT THE CRITICAL TIPPING POINT of giving this Earth a chance, or watching the continued demise of entire civilizations as we know them.

ET the extraterrestrial put it simply: “Do Good. Love Your Planet”. Indeed, THE TIME HAS COME.
